The grading
system that is used in this class is different from the system described in the module. The system used here is as follow:
We have from 12-15 module notes. Each week assignment will get a grade ranges from A-F. For example week one assignment
includes module notes 1, 2, 3, 4, and OZ week one. When I receive your typed answers to all of these notes and OZ week one,
you will have a grade ranges from A-F. The same applies to the rest of the weeks
assignments. Next, your typed answers to each of Problem set one and problem
set two will have a grade ranges from A-F. Furthermore, your final project will
also have a grade ranges from A-F. In Summary, Your final grade will be as follow:
Module notes answers
partial grade A-F
Land of OZ case partial
grade A-F
Problem Set One partial
grade A-F
Problem Set Two partial
grade A-F
Final Project partial grade A-F
When all of these partial grades
collected, an overall average will be granted as a Final Grade.
Please be aware that a lot of the module notes questions have an opinion related answers. Your
grade will depend on the depth and relevance to the subject matter. You are encouraged to avoid the brief answers. You are
also highly encouraged to show your calculations where appropriate. It is also
very important to note that if you are in class attendance, your class participation and punctuality will play heavily in
granting those partial grades. If you
are an on-line student, your punctuality and timeliness will also play in your favor in granting the partial grades above.
